Eva Walters is a designer based in the Worcestershire countryside, who having graduated from Central St. Martins in 1970, sold printed textile designs for many years throughout Europe and North America.
Inspired by her love of travel, Eva went on to establish Travellers Tales in 1999, designing and making collections of counted cross stitch kits based on the motifs found on ethnic textiles made by women from around the world.
During a trip to Venice in 2010, Eva brought back beautiful glass beads from Murano and proceeded to make one-off pieces of jewellery inspired by the stones, glass and mosaics of Venice. The Serenissima jewellery collection also incorporates Czech glass beads, semi-precious stones and bead woven jewellery.
